Artist Statement

This painting is a celebration of transition - the way a tree holds both rooted strength and the fleeting shimmer of light across its branches.  Each brush stroke is a fragment of shifting color, like the mosaic of the seasons themselves.

Fall has always been my favorite season, and in this work I wanted to capture that moment when the landscape feels alive with change - when the sun filters through branches and the ground glows with earthy warmth.  Autumn is not just a season of endings, but of vibrant transformation. It reminds me that beauty is often found in flux, in the layering of light, shadow and memory.

The tree, central and strong, anchors the composition, while the surrounding colors echo the cycles of time - a reminder that nature is always teaching us about renewal, resilience and the poetry of change.
