Underfoot crisp leaves remind us of the necessary change in every year.  Soils moisten and dankness begins to settle in every nook.  We turn to candle lights and comfort.  We gather with friends, agreeing to keep each other warm.  All the while the old knocking on the cellar door beckons. Knock knock, spring has long passed. Knock knock, summer dreams are now memories.  Knock knock, decline marks the passage of time.  We shift into this moment between the rising and falling of life, raw and exposed.  The spinning coin showing both sides.   

Life dances its last interlude with waking and brighter days.  Where plumpness and shine sink into the making of a dull and layered blanket.  Vines that feed the fruit decay away and left is the gleaning nugget.  Side by side are life and death, partners in creation.  In this shift the core is left exposed for a moment to be seen.  The veil is lifted.
